Here is a set of clear expectations that are expected in Project Life games. Hold these to you and you will be in great shape.
1. Play your role
This community is based around the aspect of role playing and we expect all members to follow this basis. When you play as your character and a situation arises think of what a real life counterpart of your character would do in that situation and use that as an idea for your reaction. We don't expect Robert De Niro acting skill nor spot on movements but it is expected that members will do the best to act like the role they are assuming.
2. Follow the rules
As you play out your characters life make sure you are constantly aware of the rules of our community. You are allowed to break in-game laws that would result in tickets/jail time if it makes sense for your character but you are not allowed to break any rules that are out of character including death matching and asspulling. If you follow the rules you will ensure a better experience for yourself and everyone else in the game.
3. Listen to the staff
Regardless of if you respect a specific staff member you must obey what they tell you to do out of character. They are staff for a reason and what they say goes. You may appeal a decision made by them in the designated section '"Post-Game Discussion" when the game is over but during the game their word is rule. Failure to comply with this simple virtue will result in a warning and possibly a suspension and/or banning.
4. Have fun!
While this website has a lot of rules that may seem intimidating they were created to make our role plays an authentic experience. While it may be hard to learn the rules at first the more you play the better you will get and the more fun you will have. Just remember to have fun in whatever your character is doing because that is what we, the staff team, created this website for! If you don't like what you are doing take a new path or scrap the character and try again.
